For many in the US, the first Saturday in November is the end of daylight savings time. Now, even though we gain an hour of sleep, this can still mess up your circadian rhythm. Our best advice is to plan ahead. So here are four things you can do to make your change as easy as possible. Number one, change your clocks before bed. This is going to mentally and emotionally prepare you for that change. Number two, get as much daylight as possible. Nothing resets your circadian rhythm and realigns you with the sun like all natural, unfiltered, cage-free daylight. Number three, keep a consistent bedtime and wake up schedule. After my trip to LA, the jet lag really messed up my circadian rhythm. The bright city lights and late-night adventures threw me off. Determined to get back on track, I decided to keep a consistent bedtime and wake-up schedule. Even though the LA vibes still lingered, I found that taking short naps during the day helped a lot. Slowly, my body adjusted, and I felt more in sync with my surroundings.
