I went on a blind date. We had many things in common, which was a good sign. When the bill came, I hesitated, but he offered to split the bill. As I invited him out, I paid the bill. I texted him to ask if he had made it home safely, but he never texted me back.

웨이터가 주문을 받으러 왔습니다. 저는 두개 중에 고민하면서,  뭘 주문할 지 못 골랐습니다. 그래서 친구에게 선택을 맡겼습니다. 그는 그 식당을 더 잘 알고 있었으니까요. 그가 닭 요리를 선택했는데, 불행히도 제 입맛에 맞지 않았습니다.

 

The server came to take our order. I was between two dishes, unable to decide on anything to order. So, I let my friend make the choice as he knew that place better than I did. He went for the chicken which, unfortunately, wasn’t to my taste.

B: 기다려봐, 지금은 아직 희망을 완전히 버리진 마. 내가 컴퓨터 완전 잘하는 사람 알아.

A: 다행이다. 온라인 수업 때문에 노트북이 작동해야 하거든.

B: 그 사람이 꼭 해결할거야. 당장 지금 전화해볼게.

 

A: I've been struggling with my laptop for hours, but it feels like hopeless!

B: Hang on, don't lose all hope just yet. I actually know a computer expert.

A: Thank God. I really need it to work for my online class.
