제가 제일 좋아하는 카페에 들어갔습니다. 일반 음료와 스페셜 메뉴가 있는 메뉴판을 보았습니다. 잠시 고민하다가 아이스아메리카노 결정했습니다. 직원이 여기서 먹을지, 테이크아웃할지 물어보았습니다. "테이크아웃"을 선택했고 그녀가 음료를 준비하는 것을 지켜보았습니다. 커피를 손에 들고 나는 하루를 시작할 준비가 되었습니다.
 
I walked into my favorite café. I checked out the menu which had normal drinks and specials. After a moment of thinking, I decided on an iced Americano. The employee asked if I wanted it for here or to go. I chose "to go" and watched as she prepared my drink. With the coffee in hand, I was ready for the day.

온라인으로 객실을 예약했는데 3시 이후에 체크인하기로 되어 있었습니다. 그런데 얼리체크인을 요청했습니다. 호텔 직원은 호의적이었고, 원래 시간보다 일찍 객실로 들어가게 해주었습니다. 기다리지 않고 일찍 쉴 수 있어서 기분이 좋았습니다.
 
I booked a room online and I was supposed to check in after 3 o’clock. But I asked for an early check-in. The hotel staff was accommodating and got me into my room before the usual time. It felt great to relax earlier without waiting around.

A: She's freelancing, making her own hours.
