팀 프로젝트에 참여했습니다. 한 명의 팀원이 할 일을 마무리하지 못했어요. 상사는 팀이 어떻게 잘 안 돌아간 것인지 듣고 싶지 않았습니다; 단지 결과물을 원했습니다. 일신상에 문제가 있나 보다라고 생각했습니다. 결국, 저는 대부분의 작업을 했습니다.
 

I was on a team project. A member didn’t get her work done. My boss didn’t want to hear about how the group didn't work; She wanted to see results. I thought something was going on in her life. Eventually, I did most of the work.

내 친구 중 한 명이 마라톤을 뛰었습니다. 그를 응원하러 줄을 서 있었습니다. 그는 초보자였지만 최대한 빠르게 뛰었어요. 그가 지나갈 때 응원했습니다.  그의 이름을 외치며 박수를 쳤습니다. 그가 그걸 하는 걸 얼마나 좋아하는지 알기에 나는 그를 위해 거기 있었습니다.
 

One of my friends ran a marathon. I lined up to support him. He was a newbie but ran as fast as he could. I cheered him on as he passed by. I clapped cheering his name. I was there for him knowing how much he loved to do that.

B: 뭐가 이상한데?
A: 딱 찝어 말은 못하겠는데, 나랑 장난하나 라는 느낌이들어 .
B: 신경 쓰지 마. 아마 오늘 힘든 날인가 보지.
 
A: She's been acting a bit strange today.
B: What’s up with her?
A: I can't quite figure it out, but it feels like she's messing with me.
B: Don’t stress about it. Maybe she’s just having a tough day.
