I learned a lot

it was a great experience.

One of the more memorable experiences from my trip

the conversations I had with the drivers.

someone you don't know very well

"I took a trip to France. One of the most memorable experiences was the conversations I had with local people. It felt awkward at times to talk with someone I didn't know very well. But I learned a lot, and it was a truly great experience."

not a good way to start a conversation.

we've met, we've been introduced

continue the conversation?

I met a new colleague at work. We were introduced first and she immediately asked personal questions. It wasn’t a good way to start a conversation. I felt uncomfortable and found it hard to continue the conversation.

Sitcom 7

they didn't have the Internet

get to know you in person

not on my computer

A: 알아요.

A: We didn't have the internet back in the days!

B: We used to do most of the work in person.

A: I know what you mean. Even scheduling was all about pen and paper.

B: Absolutely. We put all the schedules on the calendar.
