today is packed

we start off the day right by waking ourselves up

오늘은 빡빡한 하루였어. 스누즈 버튼을 수 없이 누르면서 하루를 시작했어. 그리고, 마지막 알람에 일어났어. 그 다음,  급하게 준비하고 아침은 먹는 둥 마는 둥 했어. 시간 맞춰서 간신히 출근은 했지. 근데, 하루 종일 쉴 틈이 없었어: 회의, 이메일, 그리고 마감 기한.

 

Today was packed. I started off the day by hitting snooze too many times. And I woke up to the last alarm. Then, I rushed to get ready and barely grabbed breakfast. I managed to get to work on time. The whole day was  almost non-stop: meetings, emails, and deadlines.

공부에 집중하기 위해 도서관에 가기로 했습니다. 스터디룸에 자리를 맡고 책 속에 파묻혀 몇 시간을 보냈습니다. 드디어, 끝내야 할 일을 마무리했습니다. 그런 다음에 집으로 돌아왔지만, 아직 하루가 끝난게 아닙니다. 과제하러 다시 공부로 돌아가야 했습니다.

 

I decided to head over to the library to stay focused on my studies. I took a seat in the study room and spent hours buried in books. Finally, I wrapped up what I needed to get done. Then I headed back home, but the day wasn't over yet. I had to get back to work on assignments.

Start off great

 

A: 근처에 새로 생긴 식당 시도해봤어?

B: 응, 저번 주에 갔었어. 출발이 좋아. 항상 긴 줄이 서 있어.

A: 음식은 어때?

B: 음식과 서비스 모두 정말 훌륭해. 기다릴 만해.

A: 맛있는 음식을 위해서라면 기다리거 정도야 뭐. 이번 주말에 가봐야겠다. 정보 고마워.

 

A: Have you tried the new restaurant nearby?

B: Yeah, I went there last week. They started off great. There's always a long line in front.

A: How about their food?

B: Their food and service are both awesome. It's worth the wait.

A: I don't mind waiting for good food. I'll check it out this weekend. Thanks for your information.
