I had dinner at a local restaurant in the US last year. The server was exceptionally nice to me. I wasn’t sure if his kindness was genuine or not. But, I knew that most of their pay comes through tips. So, when the bill arrived, I left an extra tip.

I got a 25% discount on a new jacket. I did the math in my head at first to get the final price. But, I wasn’t sure, so I used the calculator. I multiplied the original price by 0.75. I was delighted to see how much I saved.
