Do you get sick easily? Recently, I haven't been getting enough sleep and I know I need to protect my health. I really believe our bodies are strong if we give them the rest and nutrients they need to strengthen our immune systems. Obviously, everyone's bodies are different, so do what works for you. And this is what works for me: If I haven't been getting enough sleep for days in a row, I typically drink ginger. I mean, it's best if I could do this and get plenty of rest too. My schedule's just been a bit busier this week. So after I drink ginger, I feel so much more energy and I feel a lot better too. I tell Doug, maybe it's not real but I'd rather do it in case it does work. He did say that he typically gets sick every year during flu season, like clockwork. After we started dating, we took care of our bodies more seriously with healthy foods, getting enough sleep, and boosts like ginger shots. And he hasn't gotten sick since. Do you have any practices like this?

3. My story
As the seasons shift, I typically get sick every year, like clockwork. This is what works for me: I stock up on citron and ginger tea. They're my winter essential foods. I layer up and also sip on these brews. There's a certain warmth and comfort in each cup. In case it does work, and I dodge the seasonal sniffles, it's a ritual I'm more than happy to uphold. Plus, they taste like cozy winter nights.
