Right off the bat

the cheap vacuum had some obvious issues

 

저는 싼 제품과 비싼 제품을 비교할 것입니다. 이제품들에 대해서 인터넷 검색을 좀 해봤습니다. 알아보니, 가장 비싼 것은 $100인 이 제품이었어요. 이 제품이 좋은 점은, 멋진 디자인과 기능들입니다. 이래서 이 제품이 비싼겁니다. 이제 드디어 싼 제품을 살펴볼 시간입니다. 일단 싼 제품은 몇 가지 확실한 문제들이 있어요. 가장 나쁜 점은 배터리가 아주 빨리 소모된다는 것입니다. 아무리 싸든지, 구매할 가치가 없어요.

 

I’m going to compare a cheap one and an expensive one. I did some internet searches about them. The most expensive one turned out to be this one for $100. What’s great about this is its cool design and features. They make this one so expensive. It’s finally time to see the cheap one. Right off the bat, the cheap one has some obvious issues. What’s the worst about it is the battery runs out so fast. No matter how cheap it is, it’s not worth buying.

A: 응, 근데 출퇴근 때문에.

B: 감당할만해. 그리고 집세도 줄일 수 있잖아.

A: 1, 2시간 출퇴근은 못 감당이 안돼. 아마 은퇴하고 나서.

 

A: The city rent is killing me.

B: Ever thought about moving to the suburbs?

A: Yeah, but the commute.

B: It's manageable, and you'll save on rent.

A: I can’t handle an hour or two of commute. Maybe after I retire.
