최근 해변에 수영을 갔어요. 피부를 보호하기 위해 선크림을 발랐습니다. 햇빛에 타지 않으면서 수영을 즐기고 싶었어요. 수영을 하고 땀을 흘린 후에 다시 충분한 양의 선크림을 발랐어요. 알다시피, 선크림이 피부 위에 계속 남아 있지 않거든요. 그렇게 해서, 땡볕에서 꼭 하루 종일 커버될 수 있도록 했어요.

 

I recently went swimming at the beach. I put on sunscreen to protect my skin. I wanted to enjoy swimming without getting burned. After swimming and sweating, I applied enough amount of sunscreen again. You see, sunscreen doesn’t sit on top of the skin like forever. That way, I made sure to get all-day coverage in the sun.

지난 주말, 친구들과 나는 등산하러 산에 갔습니다. 날씨는 좋았지만, 높이 올라가면서 조금 쌀쌀해지기 시작했습니다. 신경 쓰지 않고 계속 갔습니다. 그러면서 즐거운 추억을 만들며 그저 자연 속에서 나온 것을 즐겼습니다.

Last weekend, my friends and I hit the mountains for hiking. The weather was great, but as we climbed higher, it started to get a little cold. We didn’t care and kept going. We just enjoyed being out in nature making fun memories along the way.

B: 일도 다른 것도 다 잘 되고 있어. 바쁘지만 감당 못할 정도는 아니고. 너는 어때?

A: 잘되간다니 좋네! 나도 계속 바빴어. 그래도 대부분 재미있는 일이야. 언제 커피 한잔 하면서 밀린 얘기나 하자.

B: 그래야지. 기대된다! 다음 주에 약속 잡아보자.

 

A: How's everything going?

B: I'm doing great with work and all. Busy but not overwhelmed. How about you?

A: Glad to hear that! I've been keeping busy too, but it's been fun stuff mostly. Let's catch up soon over coffee.

B: Absolutely, I’m looking forward to it! Let's plan something next week.
