출장 중에 우리의 hotel 예약이 엉망이 되어 체크인에 어려움을 겪었습니다. 결국 호텔 매니저가 그 문제를 해결해 주었지만 너무 늦었습니다. 우리가 그곳에 간 이유인 중요한 회의를 놓치게 되었습니다. 피곤하고 좌절한 상태에서 비즈니스 파트너들과의 회의 일정을 다시 잡아야 했습니다.

 

During the business trip, our hotel reservation was messed up, causing a check-in struggle. Eventually, the hotel manager sorted out the mess, but it was too late; we missed the crucial meeting that had brought us there. Tired and frustrated, we had to reschedule the meetings with our business partners.

배가 너무 고파서 냉장고를 훑어봤습니다. 먹을게 얼마 남지 않았었습니다. 있는 것을 최대한 활용해야 했어요. 쉽게 만들 수 있는 간식을 선택했어요. 남은 야채를 섞어서 프라이팬에 계란과 함께 볶았습니다. 감칠맛을 위해 양념도 좀 넣었습니다. 고급지진 않았지만 가성비 갑이었습니다.

 

I was staving, so I scanned the refrigerator. Groceries were running out. I had to make the most of what I had. I chose an easy-to-make snack. I mixed up leftover veggies and fried it on the pan with eggs. I also added some seasoning to enrich the flavor. It wasn’t fancy but cheap and satisfying.

B: 아니, 지금 뭐 좀 하고 있는 중인데. 뭔일이야?

A: 주말 약속 있나 물어볼려고 그랬어. 영화 개봉했는데, 갈까 생각중이야.

B: 재미있을 것 같은데, 지금 당장은 이 프로젝트 때문에 시간이 없는데. 조금 이따 얘기해도 될까?

A: 당연하지, 급할 거 없어. 시간이 나면 알려줘!

 

A: Hey, you got a moment?

B: Not really, I'm in the middle of something. What's up?

A: I wanted to ask about your weekend plan. There's a new movie out, and I’m thinking of going.

B: Sounds fun, but I'm tied up with this project right now. Can we talk a little later?

A: Absolutely, no rush. Just let me know when you’re free!
