내 친구와 함께 카페에 있었고 일을 좀 마무리하고 있었습니다. 그러나 친구가 계속해서 나를 방해했습니다. 결국 나는 셋 셀때까지 그만 귀찮게 하라고 했습니다. 그래도 그만 두질 않았습니다. 나는 친구가 내 작업을 망치지 않도록 다른 자리로 옮겼습니다.

 

I was at a café with my friend and I was trying to get some work done. However, she kept distracting me. Finally I gave her the count of three to stop being annoying. She didn’t stop though. I moved to another seat, so she wouldn’t mess up my task.

온라인 쇼핑 하면서, 얼마를 쓰고 있는지도 모르고 클릭을 해댔습니다. 장바구니에는 내가 정말 필요한지조차 확신 못할 상품들로 가득 찼습니다. 내가 예상한 지출을 크게 초과했다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 억지로 내 리스트에서 몇 가지 항목을 삭제하기 시작했습니다.

 

While shopping online, I clicked away losing track of what I was spending. The cart was filled with items I wasn’t even sure if I needed. I realized I was well over what I expected to spend. I reluctantly began to delete some items from my list.

A: 아침 회의 어땠어?

B: 과장님이 나를 몰아붙이실 때, 분위기 싸 했어. 알잖아, 맨날 그러는거.

A: 완전 알지.

B: 내가 말하는 거, 행동 하는거 다 싫으신거지.

A: 사실, 내 생각에는 모두한테 그러시는 것 같아.

 

A: How did the morning meeting go?

B: It got awkward when the boss gave me a hard time. You know, typical.

A: Totally get it.

B: It seems like he doesn’t like anything I say or do.

A: Actually, he treats everybody that way, I think.
