missed my appointment

 

오늘 아침, 알람에 깨지 못하고 늦잠을 자버렸습니다. 엄청나게 당황했고 출근 준비를 서둘러 끝냈습니다. 그리고 늦은 시간을 메우기 위해 택시를 탔습니다. 불행히도, 교통 체증으로 도로에서 꼼짝 못하게 되었습니다.  짜증나게, 결국 중요한 약속을 놓쳤습니다. 앞으로는 세 개의 추가 알람을 설정햐야할지도 모르겠습니다.

This morning, I failed to wake up to the alarm and overslept. I was panicked and rushed through the morning routine. Then, I  took a taxi to make up for the lost time. Unfortunately, I was stuck in awful traffic. Frustratingly, I ended up missing an important appointment. Setting three more alarms might be the move now on.

A: "프로젝트는 어떻게 진행되고 있어?"
B: "예상외로, 말이 안되게 정말 잘 되고 있어."
A: "대박! 뭐가 달라진건데?"
B: "모르겠어. 마치 모든 게 술술 풀리는 느낌이야."
A: "음, 계속 잘 됐으면 좋겠다."

A: "How's the project going?"
B: "Surprisingly, against all logic, it's actually going well."
A: "No way! What changed?"
B: "I have no idea. It's like everything just fell into place."
A: "Well, let's hope it keeps going smoothly."
